About Advans Myanmar
Advans SA is a Microfinance Group currently operating in ten countries, of which seven in Africa (Cameroun, Ghana,Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Tunisia) and three in Asia (Cambodia, Pakistan andMyanmar). The Group has over 705,000 clients, representing an Outstanding Loan Portfolio over$640 million, served by more than 6,000 staffs.
Advans Myanmar obtain its Microfinance License in October 2016. Its initial shareholders are Advans SA, Norfund (the Norway Investment Fund for Development ) and Amret, one of the leading Microfinance Institution in Cambodia.
Advans Myanmar will offer loans mostly in rural areas viavillage bankingmethodology, but also in urban and peri-urban areas via small groups and individual loans. The ambition of Advans Myanmar is to become the preferred financial partner of micro and small farmers and entrepreneurs in Mandalay and Sagaing regions.
The Head Office of Advans Myanmar is based in Mandalay. The first branch will be launched in Amarapura Township in April, 2017.
In 2019, Advans Myanmar will offer its services to more than 34,000 clients through a network of more than 20 branches and points of sales.
