The YSX listed First Private Bank was founded in 1992 in Yangon, Myanmar. It’s the first private sector bank to receive a banking license when the country transitioned towards a market economy in the 1990s. FPB pioneered then the concept of customer focused, friendly, efficient banking & financial services that we have come to expect today from all Myanmar banks. FPB currently employs about 600 hundred staff and operates 34 branches and counting all over Myanmar.
First Private Bank is currently carrying out its digital transformation and modernisation program so that we can serve our customers and communities better. As part of the program, we are in the process of upgrading our core banking system, launching new digital channels, and introducing payment cards and mobile wallet services.
Our digital transformation projects offer exciting career opportunities to both graduates and experienced professionals. You will get the opportunity to work with latest information technologies, learn how to run a bank and develop your management and leadership capabilities by working on challenging assignments.
