Accountabilities
- Implement sales plans and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team
- Prepare sales forecasts & monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team
- Review CP distribution & Infrastructure in the area and leverage adequate and efficient infrastructure is deployed for leveraging distribution & sales of CP Products
- Identify sales & distribution on increase opportunities in the designated geographical area to maximize distribution and sales of CP Products
- Drive efficiencies in the sales operations by driving use of handhelds, increase effective coverage and salesman productivity
- Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization
- Coach CDM”s on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
- Manage distributor and trade relationship by anticipating proactively and resolving issues, minimizing distributor manager and field force attrition
- Interface effectively with functions like Customer Service, Finance, Retail Marketing, HR and IT on behalf of her/his team to ensure speedy resolution of issues and the facilitating smooth flow of information/data
