Job Summary

Work with Managements for managing P&L of the company Operations by planning, designing and implementing strategy of the operations to ensure company targets are met. Recommend strategic plans and reviews, prepare and complete action plans in order to manage Operations efficiency and cost ensuring to achieve company P&L target.

Job Description/Requirements

Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for the following key areas

Operational Management 

Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, risk assessment, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. 

Responsible and make decision of truck usage and always compare the cost and enable to deal effective way with outsource vendor.  

Lead teams in order to effectively execute activities to meet with and integrate with organizational requirements. 

Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets. 

Strong team management skill and has motivate, train and influence in member to keep high team morale. 

Shall have initiative idea for managing in all aspect of transportation. 

Developing requires SOP, working instruction and guidelines for transportation.

Always tracking in FMIS system of approving, checking in timely.

Always monitor and check via GPS application of truck situation and movement.  

Be an effective communication within cross department in timely manner. 

Manage and plan in advance for daily operation of truck utilization plan and shall have all truck of maintenance plan.

Analyzing all transport operations cost and forward suggestions for improvement to management.

Prepare well present for daily, weekly, monthly report of related department to management.

Shall perform other appropriate duties (or) task assign by management. 

Dry Port Management

Make sure that the labor supply for Dry Port is met to the requirement of the work load.

Effective and efficient management and leadership of storage yard, dedicated container freight station, stock and inventory.

Supervise directly to variety of staff such as employee and worker in dry port.

Establish and implement Dry Port Operation policies and make sure that the staffs under supervision follow the policies implemented and the policies of Company.

Initiating, organizing, and leading, monitoring and evaluating the dry port operations.

Control, check and follow the dry port related cargos inbound/outbound.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Logistics Management or related field is preferred.

·       At least 7 years of experience of Logistics field in Terminal, Fleet and transportation.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills with good command in both written and spoken English and Burmese.

·       Skilled in all office software and the operations of FMIS.

·       Experienced person who used to work and manage in this field and strongly to commit to work at any time when needed.
