Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

Ø  Identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities

Ø  Explore new value creation opportunities created by various separation technologies with a focus on membrane separation in Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical markets.

Ø  Develop and manage a strategic growth plan in the FairDeal Co., in Ltd Pharmaceutical Markets.

Ø  Propose, screen, and close potential business deals which are in line with  FairDeal Co., Ltd.'s long-term growth vision.

Ø  Evaluate market trends the competitive landscape and advise on FairDeal product gaps.

Ø  Prospect potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

Ø  Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. * Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.

Ø  Managing the new business sales process from initial lead preparation, introductory call, and online capabilities demonstrations through to proposal and close.

Ø  Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.

Ø  Research and build relationships with new clients.

Ø  Set up meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leaders/Principals.

Ø  Plan approaches and pitches. * Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

Ø  Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

Ø  Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Ø  Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

Ø  Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.

Client Retention

Ø  Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

Ø  Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Ø  Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Business Development Planning

Ø  Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

Ø  Present to and consult with mid and senior management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

Ø  Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

Ø  Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Ø  Uncovering our pharmaceutical clients’ business information needs across a range of functions, including competitive intelligence, product marketing, market research, and medical affairs that our four intelligence streams provide solutions.

Management and Research

Ø  Submit weekly progress reports and ensures data is accurate.

Ø  Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.

Ø  Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

Ø  Work with the Marketing   team   to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.

Ø  Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continue to enhance the company’s performance.

Ø  Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

Ø   Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback

Ø  Collaborating with the analyst team to identify new sales opportunities, campaign messaging and timely delivery of our insights to help solve client’s business problems

Job Requirements

  • Business development management positions require a bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of sales or marketing experience in the pharmaceuticals market.
  • An MBA is preferred as well.
