Manage and supervise the Accounting Department in Myanmar to ensure the operation of the Accounting Departmentoccurs in a consistent and effective way

Job Description

Main Task

  • Review Accounting Department performance report for all the accounting staff in Myanmar (4 offices; Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inle)
  • Create a budget plan and development plan for the Accounting Department
  • Doing combine yearly budget plan for the whole office to assist to Country Director Myanmar
  • Create and implement appropriate performance indicators, common procedures and tools for the Accounting Department
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to constantly improve service levels and performance
  • Manage and supervise to 3 branches accountants to ensure & correct data in weekly cash forecast
  • Perform HR management:
  •  Assess goal, coach, mentor and review appraisal process of all accounting staff in Myanmar
  • Approve reward and discipline for the Accounting Division in Myanmar


  • Fluent in [Myanmar & English] language
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar accounting and financial regulations, tax law and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of setting up all systems in Accounting department
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  •  Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
  • Characteristics: pleasant personality, positive attitude, open-minded, honest, active and decisive
