Deputy Engineering Team Leader (Vantage Tower)

Job Summary

Work directly with Maintenance team and assist to TLE and GM in all engineering job functions.Have knowledge of building networking ,communication & civil engineering system and understanding of other low voltage technologies.Coordinate with contractor and supplier related to Proactive,Preventive, Predictive maintenance and request for quotation.

Job Description/Requirements

Minimum required knowledge & experience

Education / Experience

·         BE (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic)

·         At least 5 year experiences in engineering field

·         Good command of English is advantage

·         Patient and service-minded

·         Good knowledge for Preventative Maintenance, Building Maintenance and Operations

·         Strong leadership is required.

 

Special Skills

·         Technical support to Tenants as and when required.

·         Able to attend and resolve daily operational issues and attend corrective maintenances

·         To liaise with tenants for technical issues and corrective maintenance

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills

·         Onsite strong technical skill and knowledge of all operations and facilities systems

·         Good team work and able motivate team spirits within a team

·         Flexible and an able to compromise

·         Willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions

·         To investigate or troubleshoot till found root cause

·         Good technical skills for the building systems

·         Good attitude and ability to take initiative at improvements at work place

·         Understand the safety working procedures (PTW, Emergency Isolation, HSE)

·         Closely manage with daily operations issues supported by technical assist.

Main Responsibilities

 

·         Mainly assist to TLE for daily operations and planned work

·         Ensure optimum performance of the building systems

·         Work with the engineering team from Buildings Management Office team to improve the efficiency of equipment, systems and operations

·         Ensure the contractors perform PM with proper procedures, check-list and SOP

·         Routine checks on operation of building systems

·         Prepare monthly system defects and repair work report

·         Generate documents to control proper maintenance records, standard energy reports base on audit

·         Prepare monthly, yearly budgets reports and forecast

·       Generate a standard all systems engineering documents such as incident reports, accident reports, Inter office   memos, management meeting presentation slides and proper recordings to submit to Building Management Office

·         Generate / review standard preventive maintenance program, schedule and check-list

·         Set technical trainings base on company’s SOPs if required with approval of Building Management Office

·        Generate a standard procedure to measure and record energy consumption with Building Management Office   Maintenance Team

·         Routine Inspect condition of building structure and walls

·         Technically solve daily maintenance issues and manage onsite operations.

 

Periodically, the employee may be expected to perform assigned duties and tasks not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other functions when necessary.
