The ECCD Project Coordinators will support all aspects of field implementation of ECCD projects in the
PU area and ensure that projects are well planned, evidence based, monitored and evaluated. S/he
will play a supporting role in implementing the program strategy in the PU area focusing on Parenting
Under Pressure (PUP), Play matters at Home and A study on the cost of inaction, Home Schooling
Package for children (age 3-5). S/he will develop the capabilities of partners and communities to
support the achievement of programme goals. This is a full-time position base in Nyaung U and need
to spend time 70% in the field with 20% travel to Country Office if needed.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in the community based ECCD sector.
University degree in the relevant field, Understanding of development issues in the ECCD sector.
Relevant policies and frameworks.
Understanding of community development.
Strong knowledge in planning, monitoring, evaluating programs.
Understanding of participatory methodologies with training experience.
Fluency in both English and Myanmar.
Facilitation skills in a focus group discussion setting.
Conceptual and analytical skills.
Good team work skills, Planning and monitoring, Coaching, mentoring, training and facilitation skills.
Good computer skills (Excel, Word and Power Point).
