Job Description/Requirements


 Support implementation of the ECCD programme strategy and guidelines at the field level in

line with global and national priorities

 Provide technical support to parents-to-parents facilitators, ECCD teachers, caregivers and

partners to help ensure that the ECCD projects are implemented in target areas in line with

Plan Myanmar's Country Strategy, Gender, and Disability Inclusion standards and principles

 Play a key role in the delivery of different training modules ensuring that training methodologies

integrate participatory and appreciative approaches to empower parents to parents’ facilitators

and ECCD teachers, caregivers and partners

 Contribute to development of informational, educational, communicational materials for the

ECCD programme in consultation with key stakeholders

 Support the development and growth of a high quality ECCD programme through integration,

expansion and growth of existing projects and strengthening links with other sectors

 Help implement M&E plans and document project learnings to inform program design and

implementation for continuous improvement

 Contribute to timely and high quality quarterly and annual programme reports for internal and

external stakeholders

 Play a supporting role in implementing the national influencing plan for ECCD-related outcomes

 Collaborate with partners for the establishment and implementation of standards of

accountability, effectiveness and efficiency in the achievement of Plan’s domains and principles

 Identify the capacity building needs of project and partner staff and design ways to build the

capacity continuously in the field


 Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in the community based ECCD sector

 University degree in the relevant field

 Understanding of development issues in the ECCD sector, relevant policies and frameworks

 Understanding of community development

 Strong knowledge in planning, monitoring, evaluating programs

 Understanding of participatory methodologies with training experience

 Fluency in both English and Myanmar

 Good team work skills, Planning, monitoring, Coaching, mentoring, training and facilitation skills

 Good computer skills (Excel, Word and power point)

 Ability to emulate Plan International’s commitment, both in and outside of the workplace, to

empowering girls and young women in securing their rights to equality

 Proactive, demonstrates record of creativity and entrepreneurship

 Accountability and responsibility for own performance

 Promotes team work and cooperation

 Demonstrate high degree of professionalism and integrity

 Willingness to travel to remote areas
