Job Description/Requirements

Activities

1) Financial Management of Yangon base

➢ Ensure regular clearings of personal and professional advances of national staff and expatriate staff

➢ Inform AFC & CFHRM in case of any unclosed advance at the end of the month

➢ Prepare per diem, security envelope

➢ Check Yangon vouchers, correct financial allocations, process the journals and record all transactions in

SAGA accounting software

➢ Liaise with AFC & CFHRM to make sure there are no discrepancies between the SAGA cashbooks and

the physical inventories

➢ Prepare accounting closing every month.

➢ Insure the accounting achieving for Yangon

2) Support financial management of Myanmar mission

➢ Ensure the expenditures are done in accordance with PUI rules and regulations and inform CFHRM and

AFC in case of doubt or suspicion

➢ Assist CFHRM to arrange the money transfers for currency exchange under the approval of AFC

➢ Assist CFHRM to arrange the money transfers to other PUI country offices and grantees (partners) upon

the Project Manager/Base Admin with the approval of AFC

➢ Support all PUI bases administrators in case of CFHRM absence (i.e., Technical support in cash book,

SAGA and bank transfer process)

Requirements;

 Accounting Qualification such as Bachelor’ degree in Accounting and dip; of LCCI, etc.

 Excellent knowledge about Saga appreciated and additional advanced knowledge about Microsoft Excel

 Good organization and flexibility about work and time schedule

 Good communication skills in English and Myanmar

 Motivation, dynamism and positive mind are required to contribute to the PUI project objective. Team work and team

spirit with strong motivation to work for community

 Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experiences

 Due to the specific work to Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) and according to his/her responsibility

stated here, Finance Assistant is requested to stay at the organisation’s disposal for any extra duties related

to the work and this position and job description will be reviewed regularly in concordance with the

development of the programs.
