We are looking for a seasoned Finance Business Partner to partner and control all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures and including financial risk management. This role reports directly to CFO and highly regard Finance Business Partner by C suites.


Key Responsibilities Include:


• Partner directly with Managing Director of our CVS and General Managers of our Specialty Formats

• Manage all finance and accounting aspects of CVS and Specialty Formats

• Perform value add analysis for the wider Retail function

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

• Research technical accounting issues for compliance

• Support and oversees month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Delivering commentary and insights around key financial and non-financial metrics

• Work closely with internal finance stakeholders to create and deliver insights - Improve team ways of working by introducing innovative analysis, systems efficiencies, improving processes and providing constructive challenge to all areas

• Partner with Business unit managers and operations for provision of financial and productivity support and insight on P&L results through benchmarking and coaching best practice

• Additional FBP duties as necessary and support CFO with any adhoc projects and requirements


Job Requirements


• Proven working experience as a Finance Business Partner, preferred Retail / FMCG

• Key skills: Effective communications at all levels, Influencing and Leaderships 

• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

• Highly regard internationally acquired experience (preferred Retail/ FMCG )

• CPA /ACCA / CIMA preferred

• Stakeholder Management – Strong communication skills and relationship building skills

• Experience with creating financial statements

• Proven ability to communicate in an effective manner across the business

• Experience and ability to build financial models

• Advanced excel skills essential

• Strong experience building reporting packs, dashboards and presenting to the board

• People person with leadership principals
