Key responsibilities for this position are to:
•Assessments of partner’s administrative and financial management capacity
•Ensure quality of Partner Budget, Budget Overviews, and timely fund transfers to projects
•Contribute to the approval of partner project applications
•Provide financial and administrative capacity building to DCA partners and staff
•Conduct regular financial monitoring visits of projects implemented by DCA’s partners
•Providing support and financial control of selected partner’s financial reports following DCA-NCA guidelines (Budget revision, reconciliations, audits etc.)
•Responsible for audit processes for selected projects and partners
•Contribute to the preparation of DCA’s Programme budgets and reports Required qualifications:
•Bachelor degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or another relevant subject
•5 years of experience working with financial management with progressive levels of responsibility.Experience of working in INGO and managing local partners are essential.
•Experience in handling back donor projects like Europe Aid, ECHO, UNOPS is preferable.
•Competence in financial monitoring and reporting•Ability to work in team proactively and with initiative
•Good interpersonal and communication skills•Flexible, reliable and trustworthy
•Good working knowledge of English (verbal and written).
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word and any ERP package
•Will require to visit field areas outside Yangon from time to time.
