Blink is looking for an experienced Social Media Junior Art Director who has a keen interest and passion in social media and content marketing, and creative solutioning for Brands. We are looking for a creative hybrid who can handle art direction, styling, photography and graphic design.
Your Job Includes
- Working from a brief with art director and accounts team
- Involvement in brainstorming and idea generation
- Developing pitches, detailed budgets and timelines
- Working on creative output to produce an effective social campaign; determining which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
- Review and approval of artwork and concepts developed by creative team
- Confer with creative, suits, vendors or production department heads to discuss client requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities
- Hire, train and direct creatives who develop concepts into art work
- Manage creative activities of every project and working within a budget
- Make sure creative approach / direction / execution is on brand and suitable for the platform proposed
- Ensure creative solution answers the brief / solves the problem
- Staying updated on social media creative trends
- Oversee / monitor creative process to ensure quality delivery and meet deadlines
- Use creative approaches to maintain and improve KPIs on clients’ platforms
- Talking to clients to develop an artistic approach and style appropriate for social media
- Pitching campaign ideas and content calendars to clients
- Producing sketches, storyboards or mocks to communicate ideas to client
- Gaining an understanding of the target audiences and business that social media adverts are aimed at
- Briefing other members of the creative team
- Commissioning and supervising third-party vendors such as freelance photographers, videographers, graphic designers or interns
- Visiting and assessing locations for potential shoots
- Working on location
- Attending meetings at production houses and with other directors
- Overseeing finished product
Requirements
- 3-4 years of creating for social media
- Photography skills
- Keen grasp of Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
