Job Description/Requirements

Purpose of this position

This position is to

 Coordinate and collaborate with other project team members to review all the project activities and developed

appropriate M&E templates and tools

 Ensure appropriate templates and tools are in place right from the start of the project.

 Collaborate with WVM DM&E team for field-level reporting and accountability, the development and upkeep of

tools to capture and track project progress and compliance with the agreed upon timelines for data collection,

monitoring and evaluation as per the project specific requirements.

 Support the Project team to collect and compile disaggregated data that is specific to gender, age and disability for

comprehensive analysis

 Ensure the quality of the project’s implementation and achievements together with Project Manager and guidance

of NO DME Department

 Ensure that lesson learned are communicated to stakeholders

 For monitoring purpose visit to project areas both face to face or virtual to ensure the quality of the information

 Build up the field staff capacity and provide technical support on M&E related knowledge and utilization of the M&E

templates and tools

Key responsibilities

 Develop project M&E Framework, Plan, Guideline, templates and tools together with the project manager in

consultation with NO DM&E and CP Technical team.

 Facilitate in developing an effective community-based M&E system for project teams.

 Work on knowledge management by disseminating the monitoring and evaluation findings, recommendations,

and lessons learnt from monitoring and evaluation.

 Document and share project/programme activities, results, best practices and lessons learned.

 Support the Project team to establish child-friendly accountability mechanism.

 Conduct regular monitoring visits to target areas to collect data, analyse and give feedback for improvement

of the project.

 Coordinate with the team members to get the M&E data on time with quality.

Require knowledge and skills

 Bachelor university degree in any discipline.

 Minimum 2 years working experience in research and M&E, preferably in NGOs working with major donors’

Requirements and standards.

 Experience working in M&E for CP interventions in humanitarian/emergency settings.

 Communication in English and Myanmar (both speaking and written)

 Understanding on international Child Protection and national legal framework on child rights and child

protection

 Good knowledge of M&E, accountability mechanisms and Research

 Ability to develop M&E framework with SMART indicators and effective tools

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills
