Overall responsibility for the acquiring merchants to accept electronic payment via bank’s services with the sales strategy that fit with Myanmar market. On-boarding profitable merchants is the main key of this role. Also, increasing electronic payment acceptance amount of the merchants is another area that this role shall cover. In addition, this role is responsible for working with the merchant acquiring product team.
Oversees the development and implementation of sales strategies to penetration electronic payment acceptance in Myanmar market with the aim to drive the increase of Merchant Sales Volume (MSV). Responsible for managing the identified key merchant relationships. The person taking this role should be able to understand and communicate local market needs to the merchant sales.
1.Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective merchants
2.Reach out to potential merchants through cold calling or on-site visiting and follow up with proposed merchants
3.Responsible for business development, continuously innovating, driving creative solution to deliver value added payment services for merchants
4.Managing key strategic merchant partnerships and relationship deepening for acquiring business in order to increase merchant sales volume
5.Understand and gather merchant’s requirement to help in business improvement and marketing promotion
6.Engaging in merchant business portfolio growth through partnership with enterprise teams in the development of new merchant acquisition opportunities building strategic merchant relationships with potential growth
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related fields
•At least 2-3 years of experience in banking service especially in sales function
•Experience in payment business especially card payment is a plus
•Experience in using MS Office
•Fluent in English is a plus
•Effective communication both verbal and written and presentation skills
•Positive attitude with leadership personality
