Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

 The project coordinator will responsible for overall project implementation and

management to be ensured the project goal and objectives are achieved.

 Provide supervision and guidance to three (3) Regional Youth Coordinators based in

Mandalay Region, Mon State and Rakhine State, Network Officers and other staffs.

 Develop strategies and manage project activities.

 Coordinate with implementing partners and stakeholders for effective projects

implementation and ensure strong networking.

 Work closely with Program Director, Development and Engagement Director and the

Regional Youth Coordinators to ensure the program implementation are in line with

organization’s value.

 Supervise and monitor project staffs to ensure effective implementation of project

activities in timely manner.

 To prepare the monthly/quarterly project reports.

 Plan and support monitoring visits to project areas to ensure activity implementation

with Program Director.

 Report to Program Director, take overall responsibility for project’s financial

management and oversight in accordance with DA-Myanmar’s policies and Donor’s

requirements.

 Liaise with local community, youth networks and other relevant stakeholders to build

good working relationship necessary for DAM’s Program intervention under the

supervision of Program Director.

 Coordinate with staffs as well as finance staff for project related activities on all

procurements and financial expenditures, supporting documents.

 Act as a project focal person in project area for all DAM activity.

 Submit a draft narrative report to Program Director for Donor reporting purpose

including photographs of the activity according to report timeline.

 Submit monthly work plan, monthly report verse implementation activities report as

well as findings and lessons learned from project innovations to the Program Director.

 The expense report must be submitted to Finance staff not later than 7 days after the

completion of activity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

 Myanmar National

 Fluency in Myanmar and English, both written and spoken.

 Experience in the Management of Program/Project is desirable.

 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Program Management

software is required.

 Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field.

 Strong Interpersonal communication skill.

 Creative, independent, and highly self-motivated.

 Respect for diversity and sensitivity to other cultures.

 Flexible, able to work under pressure, innovative, and a team player
