Duties and Responsibilities
The project coordinator will responsible for overall project implementation and
management to be ensured the project goal and objectives are achieved.
Provide supervision and guidance to three (3) Regional Youth Coordinators based in
Mandalay Region, Mon State and Rakhine State, Network Officers and other staffs.
Develop strategies and manage project activities.
Coordinate with implementing partners and stakeholders for effective projects
implementation and ensure strong networking.
Work closely with Program Director, Development and Engagement Director and the
Regional Youth Coordinators to ensure the program implementation are in line with
Supervise and monitor project staffs to ensure effective implementation of project
activities in timely manner.
To prepare the monthly/quarterly project reports.
Plan and support monitoring visits to project areas to ensure activity implementation
with Program Director.
Report to Program Director, take overall responsibility for project’s financial
management and oversight in accordance with DA-Myanmar’s policies and Donor’s
Liaise with local community, youth networks and other relevant stakeholders to build
good working relationship necessary for DAM’s Program intervention under the
supervision of Program Director.
Coordinate with staffs as well as finance staff for project related activities on all
procurements and financial expenditures, supporting documents.
Act as a project focal person in project area for all DAM activity.
Submit a draft narrative report to Program Director for Donor reporting purpose
including photographs of the activity according to report timeline.
Submit monthly work plan, monthly report verse implementation activities report as
well as findings and lessons learned from project innovations to the Program Director.
The expense report must be submitted to Finance staff not later than 7 days after the
completion of activity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Fluency in Myanmar and English, both written and spoken.
Experience in the Management of Program/Project is desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Program Management
software is required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field.
Strong Interpersonal communication skill.
Creative, independent, and highly self-motivated.
