Main tasks Lead technical, budget management, monitoring and reporting activities
throughout the project cycle, in line with FCA quality and accountability
principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.
Coordinate closely with partners and FCA Country office and FCA Service and
Accountibility Center (SAC) to ensure smooth exchange of information.
Ensure learning properly accompanies project activities throughout the
project cycle. Support accountability through coordinating project evaluation
activities following MEAL guidelines. Proactively identify issues and report on
them to inform plans and implementation schedules.
Organize knowledge sharing events with partners and other stakeholders.
Strengthen relationships relevant to the project, and support appropriate
application of partnership concepts, tools and approaches.
Represent FCA vis-à-vis the Government of Kayin and other stakeholders.
Identify support needs of the project/partners, and contribute to capacity
building activities to enhance quality implementation.
Prepare project reports and disseminate lessons learnt, achievements and
Rigorously maintain project documentation and ensure it is complete, up-todate and in line with all FCA and donor requirements.
Support in the development of new and related projects in Kayin
(Thandaunggyi and Leik Tho).
Maintain proactive, positive and professional relationships with partner
organizations, other (I)NGOs, donors, key government officials etc.
Ensure compliance with FCA policies and procedures.
Actively participate in South East sector/cluster coordination and working
group meetings as well as policy dialogue oriented forums.
experience, skills, knowledge needed
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project management, ideally in
the field of Gender or Food security and Livelihood in Myanmar.
Extensive working experience in Kayin State. Experience working with
Government of Kayin at various levels.
Grant management experience, preferably working in consortia.
Experience in applying gender principles to all aspects of project cycle
Experience analyzing data and contributing to evaluation reports.
Experience using MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Skype,
Good facilitation skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Language skills: English written and spoken. Knowledge of local languages
highly desirable (Karen language)
