Job Description/Requirements

Responsibility 1: Implementation of Project activities

➢ Under the supervision of the PM, organize, coordinate and support project activities, including, but

not limited to, coordination with partners, capacity building activities, awareness sessions and

assessments/ data collection activities

➢ Monitor, through field visits and coordination with HI Security Focal Point, areas of intervention,

target population, methodology of intervention and suggest operational strategy and potential

adaptations in coordination with the PM

➢ Ensure the implementation of the program activities according to the objectives defined in the

project and adherence to HI policies and humanitarian principles

➢ Work with the PM on ensuring the activities are carried out on time and in accordance with the

project budget

Responsibility 2: Organize, coordinate and support the HI team members within the Project

➢ Under PM supervision, create and manage activity plans on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, in

consultation with the team members

➢ In consultation with the team members, systematically identify, document and report on technical

and operational challenges and successes and report to the PM

➢ Support the coordination and collaboration between project team members (Partner organizations,

daily workers, Campaigners, consultant, etc)

➢ Provide operational support for the project team’s movement in the field

➢ Support the team in their timely and accurate completion of attendance sheets, leave requests,

travel allowance forms, etc. in according to HR procedures

➢ Support in the HR procedures and management of the assigned team, if any.

Qualification(s) • University degree in social work, social science psychology, public health, human rights or related degree

Expérience • Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience as project officer • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with international or local NGOs in Rakhine is mandatory

Compétences • Burmese: Fluent • English: Fluent • Strong planning/organizational skills • Ability to solve problems • Excellent communication, motivational and listening skills • Excellent computer skills (MS Office minimum) • Good reporting skills in English • Diplomacy
