Job Summary

Manage and oversee the team responsible for PtP activities.

Job Description

  • Ensure payment policy is understood by all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all invoices reach finance.
  • Goods received note is updated and approved by respective stakeholders on time.
  • Manage Accounts payable (AP) weekly by clearing AP aging based on GRN dates.
  • Weekly clear all open POs and GRNs with respective departments and Procurement.
  • Weekly meeting with Procurement to improve coordination.
  • Ensure all payments processes the respective supporting documents as per payment policy.
  • All prepayments (including suppliers & employees) are cleared fortnight will report circulated to FD.
  • Escalated issue resolution across PtP, and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Oversee salary payroll reconciliation and employees advance reconciliation.
  • Manage and oversee invoice receipt, settle travel agency invoice, book travel and prepare expense claims.
  • Manage the month end timetable to ensure proper integration of activities and timings.
  • Manage standard reports.
  • Support PEC activities (Period End Closing).
  • Monitor and review process controls, and take the appropriate action when controls have not been followed according to the defined procedure (Eg. sufficient detail attached to each journal).
  • Support internal / external audits (VAT, Financial, Operations) and remediate any audit issue related to the PtP process.
  • Be the custodian of sources documents relevant to payments.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in B.Com, CPA or ACCA qualification
  • Costing, AP Control, Inventory Control and General Ledger Accounting
  • At least 5 years of experience 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • People management skills
  • Good team player
  • Detailed oriented
  • Good problem solving skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Burmese / Myanmar Language is mandatory
  • Business English is required
