interpersonal skills and strong relationship with Media
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Fluent in Myanmar language and English (written & verbal)
• Target oriented on program execution
• Understanding of different media communications channel (audio visual media and channeling)
• Good in photographic skills will be an advantage
Ideally hold qualification in communications, PR. Marketing, media or equivalent

• Be the focal point for internal communications activity undertaken and deliver consistency with the approved communication strategy and in accordance with UMG’s corporate policies.
• Manage media inquiries quickly and effectively, ensuring timely responses from appropriate spokespeople
• Effectively manage all internal communications channel ensuring that they are fit for purpose and audience (i.e. internet, emails, posters, etc.)
• Support change management projects which required internal communications support
• Assess the effectiveness and impact of internal communications initiatives and activities
• Create content and update schedules of postings
• Ensure consistency of messages with External Communications
• Proactively manage day-to-day PR activities
• Build and maintain effective relationships with editors/ journalists relevant to UMG and all its business units
• Develop press kit (press release, photo release, fact sheet, top management bio ) and communication kit (key message, anticipated Q&A, speech, backgrounder, and standby statement) for further distribution to targeted media and responding to queries from journalists
• Plan, prepare and implement media activities
• Support with issues/crisis management including proactive and reactive news monitoring, research and analysis tied to products and/or corporate image
• Collect data from both external and internal stake holder of media activities ( Video, Photos & files)
