About MYEO

Myanmar Youth Empowerment Opportunities (MYEO) is a social impact-driven edtech. Our mission is to equip all of Myanmar’s new graduates with the skills to be valuable members of the workforce and community.


Youths in Myanmar are in a vulnerable employment situation, either unemployed or underemployed. At the same time, organizations in Myanmar urge more qualified employees, particularly for jobs in the new economy.


Despite the challenges in work conditions for youth and low skilled workforce, Myanmar presents an encouraging opportunity on the adoption of mobile technology: +20 million people in the country use Facebook or Messenger. To seize that opportunity, MYEO has created a mobile-based online solution that nurtures youth employability and paves the way to build a high-skilled workforce for organizations in Myanmar.


MYEO has a team of +30 people, with experience in technology, education, marketing and data analysis. Since 2014, the startup has been impacting the lives of thousands of youths in Myanmar, including +12,000 youths trained exclusively online, +50,000 youths using MYEO's learning chatbots and +130,000 youths engaging with MYEO's Facebook community.


About the Recruitment Specialist Role

MYEO’s recruitment specialist is fully responsible for attracting candidates for jobs and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with MYEO’s client companies. You will build positive relationships in order to gain a better understanding of MYEO clients' recruitment needs and requirements. You will screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to clients.

You also need to provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements, career opportunities and terms and conditions of HR packages. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Potential Candidates.

  • Sourcing the candidate and keep processing the recruitment process

  • Conduct Screening Interviews

  • Coordinate Recruitment Activities.

  • Support Fair Hiring Practices.

  • Develop Retention Strategies.

  • Arrange the interview appointment between candidates and clients.

  • Create the JD for relative position.

  • Attending the business meeting with the clients regarding recruiting and consultation.

  • Exploring new networks for company business development opportunities.

  • Preparation of service T&C and confidential documentation in database.

  • Orientation for new joiner and junior consultant.


Requirement 

  • 2 years of experience in related field and Recruitment Agencies

  • Bachelor Degree/ Certificate or Diploma in HRM

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Ability to multitask

  • Adaptable and has the right attitude

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

  • Good communication skills

  • Friendly and has the positive vibes

  • Four skills of English must be proficient

  • Good Digital Skills
