Job Summary
The Safety Coordinator observes and reports all Health and Safety tasks for RGL dry port both YTG & MN. Safety Officer must educate, assist to Safety Officer and Manager(QEHS), coordinate the training program, monitor, problem-solve, and ensure company Safety rules and policy are followed across to all employees. In-charge of all safety equipments.

Job Description/Requirements
§ Ensuring at all times compliance with all safety regulations including Code of safe working practice, OSHA and Company IMS;
§ Checking, advise maintaining and recording on all Firefighting equipments and Maintenance Log;
§ Ensuring that, assist in paper works, reports and inventory handling in safety equipments, store requisition and keep record continuously;
§ Assist for a short briefing about safety and security is conducted and arranging a familiarization tour around the yard and daily routeine check in the yard or warehouses for all staffs, employee members, cargos and other safety requirements, Coordinating OH&S issues with employees;
§ Assisting in provide and implementing emergency drills, training and to make development of staff’s moral sense;
§ Assist to provide a safe working place with 5 S and 5WS accordingly, ensuring operational controls are implemented and monitored;
§ Ensuring environmental protection, Yard and warehouses cleanliness activities, control handling of IMDG & follow IMS system. All relevant forms and checklist to be duly filled up and validity maintained accordingly;
§ Ensuring and verifying that a fire and safety round watch schedule is maintained in both the YTG and MN yard in emergency situation and report to department head;
§ Assist department head to record and analyze the cargo damages, report and rectify in both loading and unloading process;
§ Familiarizing self with duties of the next senior rank;
§ Ensuring the area reporting requirements concern with security matters is fully complied with
§ Performing any other duties as required by the CEO, COO and QEHS Manager;
§ Publication of internal communications and OH&S news letters;
§ CCTV control;
Job Requirements
§ A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
§ Valid competency certificates
§ Strong communication skills.
§ Minimum of 3 years experience in this position.
§ Basic knowledge in all Microsoft Applications
