Provide technical support and guidance to program team in health assessment, design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of HIV.
Develop, review and provide technical inputs on HIV related proposals, and provide technical guidance on development of work plan
Review and provide technical input on internal and external reports and other documents as needed
Identify areas of clinical and health priorities that CPI can be involved in
Conduct quality investigations, and incorporate findings into the implementation of health interventions and policies
Focal for designing all UHF related innovations
Provide technical input for PEPFAR POART calls for evaluation and explanation of current implementation status
Provide inputs for technical contents of UHF related social media platforms (UHF page and 528Love page)
Together with CPI research team, responsible for development of UHF research related protocols design operation details for implementation
Development and documentation of CPI research findings, drawing upon existing information and provide inputs on them
Compile, prepare and submit donor reports (semiannual, annual) highlighting project progress and impact throughout the year.
Serve as technical focal for existing programs
Identify opportunities to leverage existing CPI and partner programs to generate new funds
Monitor and evaluate partners’ program technically
Capacity building in HIV related updated knowledge to the team and other departments of CPI as well as to the partners according to need
Attends seminars, conferences, and support/facilitate in e-learning platforms for National program
Provide technical inputs during proposal development within CPI.
Document the learning adapted to the local health context of Myanmar
Lead grant-writing efforts to seek funding from private foundations, bilateral and multilateral funders, and other international institutions
Strengthen relationships between CPI, local CBOs and academic partners.
Presentation of CPI and the Partners’ work at national, regional and international meetings.
Representation of CPI (and of CBOs if designated) at national and donor meetings related to planning health policies and programs and reporting of health program information
Coordination and communication with staff of CPI, CBOs and academic partners
Advanced degree in public health
At least 10 years’ experience in public health research experience
Experience of working in a multicultural, low-resource setting
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality
Ability to provide technical inputs in all aspects of public health
Multilingual in local languages or other demonstrated ability to work across cultures
