Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Officer-HIV is a core responsible technical support staff for planning and implementing the functions of Technical Services Unit of MPG and this position is accountable for the following key responsibilities.

TECHNICAL SUPERVISION & QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPPORT

 Coordinate with respective Program Officers to Conduct routine technical supervision and quality assurance visits using minimum standard checklist to all HIV related service delivery including prevention, care & treatments, human rights and legal support services

 Organize, coordinate and conduct effective planning, implementation of timely, qualitative and compliance processes at all levels of the activities according to the standard guidelines and polices

 Plan to achieve Quality assurance visit targets and regularly evaluate the achievements against targets in coordination with M&E Team for maintaining and improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness

DOCUMENTATION, REPORTINGS AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

 Prepare and Draft documentation of best practices and challenges lessons learned through conducted series of trainings and trips providing regular feedback relevancy of Standard Operational Procedures and guidelines

 Prepare and submit routine QA visit reports, trip reports, monthly and quarterly progress reports with relevant feedbacks to Senior Program Officer on key relevant findings during implementation

of training with recommendations and provide inputs in annual report preparations

 Prepare Quality Assurance Report with proper analysis for evidence-based reviews and recommendations

 Accountable for tracking status of action items for the agreed and committed recommendations by respective operations departments and community networks

CAPACITY BUIDLING TRAINING PLANNING AND OPERATIONS

 Provide Technical Capacity Buildings and lead training activities including on-site and virtual training for ART Counselors, Peer Educators, peer supporters, self-help groups and community networks by ensuring continuous linkage to information, services, improving coordination and maintaining close collaboration through regular communications and feedbacks

 Prepare and arrangement training materials documents, submit and follow up approval request documents and lead the delivery of training related advocacy meetings with respective key stakeholders for smooth implementations of trainings for HIV program

 Support Senior Officer – Technical Services in communication with focals from Technical Support organizations and implementing partners to develop and review references and training materials resources including guidelines, testing manuals, training contents, designs, facilitations, session plans, testing of package and effectiveness assessment methodology and lead IEC materials development for quality of program

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES NEEDED

 Must be M.B.,B.S. with valid SAMA license

 Has minimum three years or equivalent proven experiences proven experiences of working in HIV Program related technical fields at International NGO or CBO

 Has familiarity with database management using Microsoft Excel and other statistical software

 Ability to efficiently communicate in verbal and written English
