The Account Manager is the person in charge of managing a company's relationships with its clients. They are in charge of building long-term relationships with clients and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. Account managers may be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing . 


Responsibilities:


• Operating as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating payments, contracts, agreements to maximize profit and following up issues
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
• Collaborating with internal team to facilitate client need fulfillment
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
• Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new business with existing clients
• Collaborate with business development team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
• Identifying music industry trends
• Report weekly status of clients and team feedback to Management.

 

Requirements:


• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Communication or relevant field
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data
• Adaptability and strong problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
•Understanding of artist behaviors and music industry trends
