Main tasks and responsibilities
Support staff involved in cash-based activities remotely and on-site to achieve the outcome of the
project, in compliance with project specifications, allocated budgets, quality standards and
timeframes - this includes the development of work plans and resource management.
Manage direct cash interventions for vulnerable persons in the IDP sites.
Monitor cash-for-work activities, to ensure funds are reaching the most vulnerable.
Conduct site needs assessments and determine appropriate cash responses.
Monitor and evaluate activities, including supporting the design of project management tools for
MEAL of activities.
Analyse and interpret activity results, identify negative and positive impacts, challenges and lessons
learnt; and where appropriate take corrective action.
Collect evidence of activity implementation, and document project progress, challenges and risks.
Manage related activity budgets.
Support development of concept notes and proposals
Required Experience and Skills
3 + years’ experience working in the humanitarian sector in a similar position.
Ability to deliver high-quality work in a high-pressure environment on time.
Excellent planning and management skills.
Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.
Experience working in Rakhine communities.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office-Word and Excel.
Excellent spoken and written English.
