လုပ်ငန်းတာဝန်သတ်မှတ်ချက်

MISSION/OBJECTIVES:

Under the supervision of the accounting officer, the cashier is in charge of cash payment end ensures that the cash box and cash books are perfectly maintained, as well as monitors, inputs and archives accounting documents. S/He is in charge of his/her cash box security.

MAIN TASK:

Cash management

 Carry out withdrawals and payment of advances, in accordance with established procedures and keep careful supporting document

 Perform cash payment of daily / monthly expenses (phone, internet, electricity, …)

 Perform cash payment on the field and support program team during cash distribution

 Assist, in collaboration with HR department, to the staff's payment (medical reimbursement, daily workers’ wages, perdiem…)

 Ensure cash box security and confidentiality of information and perform daily inventories of cash boxes

 Check cash balances on a daily basis and report any discrepancies to the line manager

 Establish a statement of needs for liquid assets in consultation with the support of line manager’s/ and administrative manager’s

Accountancy

 Before recording, check that the supporting documents complies with Solidarités International procedures

 Ensure that accounting documentation is translated if necessary

 Keep the advance books and cash journal and record budget allocation and accounting codes of expenses

 Carry out withdrawals and payment of advances, in accordance with established procedures

 Convert currencies at the line manager’s request

 Participate to the voucherisation and scanning of supporting documentation on monthly basis

 Regularly verify and check vouchers and other supporting documents and archive accounting documents in accordance with Solidarités International procedures.

 Participate to the preparation of archives to be sent to coordination 

Reporting and Communication

 Establishes and maintains good relationships with local and regional financial or administrative authorities / partners, beneficiaries, other departments…

 Centralizes and reports to his/her line Manager on accounting process implementation’s feedbacks/issues

 Participates to the weekly Administrative department meeting

 Participates to the sensibilization and training of other staffs regarding SI’s policies and practices if requested

TECHNICAL COMPETENCES:
 Bachelor's Degree or University Diploma in finance, accounting management and administration
 At least 2 year experience in similar position. Humanitarian experience would be appreciated
 Knwoledge of bookkeeping principles / accounting process
 Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and databases.
 Good command in spoken and written English, Myanmar and Kachin
