Assist and provide inputs and feedback to Communications Manager to develop communications strategy
and annual business plan, guidelines according to Myanmar context.
Assist CM to Produce communication resources and publications such as Annual Report, capacity
statements, sector fact sheets and other WVM advocacy materials.
Connect with AP, grants and sector teams for field visits/trainings/ and or to gather communications
Produce communication resources stories and related photos (video as necessary) as requested by the
World Vision Partnership (SO, region, GC).
Actively use resources sharing platform and connect with region and AP teams to carry out the assignment.
Accept deployment to emergency areas to get communications resources to provide to the partnership
during disaster response.
Write, prepare communications resources received from the field and share with region, SO, GC using
Assist CM to update the communications disaster preparedness plan.
Develop communications content with team to position WV Myanmar as a well-informed and responsive
development and relief agency.
Maintaining and updating websites and promote social media platforms.
Assess and analyse risks on the social media platform.
Regular update and upload content on the webpage.
Require knowledge and skills
Bachelor degree in communications, journalism or any related field
Proven skills and experience in story writing (English and Myanmar),
Basic photography and videography skills
Good presentation and communication skills (written and spoken).
Good experience in gathering communications resources
Good social media skills
Good organisational skills, including time management and ability to work independently and under pressure
Proven experience as a team player
