Purpose of this position
Increased access of Basic Needs and Protection for Children & Family in Paung Township. World
Vision the project will response to address the needs of the most vulnerable children and their
families through the provision of Psychosocial support to children and their caregivers, Child
protection kits and basic foods for the most vulnerable HHs in targeted villages at Paung Township.
It is expected that the project will support children and their caregivers to decrease their fear, stress
and grief caused by the ongoing violence, in additional to access basic foods during this project
Community Development Facilitator will be the main implementor of the project activities as per
detailed implementation plan. He/She will also be work closely with DSW, AP staffs & Volunteers in
providing Psychosocial Support to the vulnerable Household & child incident cases within target
Project activities are implemented in timely manner according to Detailed Implementation Plan.
Monthly monitoring visits were done to volunteers and reported to supervisors & donor.
Regular reporting was done timely as requested by supervisors and donor.
Ensure that all customer services standards and systems are met.
Provide support and build capacity of the community.
Perform tasks assigned by supervisors are done in timely manner.
Require knowledge and skills
Bachelor university degree in any discipline.
At least 1-2 year experience in similar role in development projects especially in Child Protection/
Good planning and organizing skill.
Good communication and decision making skill.
Previous experience in working with migrants/ peri- urban setting/ most vulnerable people is a plus.
Experience in working closely with Government Department esp; DSW.
