- Job Description
• Checking weekly funds transfer in line with prescribed authority delegation table, policies, and guidelines
• Checking the premium collection, refunds and claims daily and reconciliation with the system
• Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly fund management and forecasting the income and expenditure and payments
• Checking the accounting transactions in the system with matching concept
• Checking for the prepayment and accrual expenditures schedule and allocation
• Preparing the regulatory reports; FRD reports, AML reports as per requirement
• Checking the bank reconciliation report monthly
• Checking the currency exchange table and FX gain/loss transactions
• Further improve finance and accounting systems
• Involve in the implementation of budget module and manage the overall budget
• Prepare Business Plan VS Actual report for management reporting
• Prepare for head quarter reporting such as capital management report, reimbursement report, consolidated financial package, etc.
• Monthly/Quarterly/half yearly/ Annual closing of books of accounts and prepares financial reports
• Checking the payments for the withholding tax for weekly payments and quarterly and annual returns with tax office
• Liaise with auditors and regulators
• Prepare fixed asset listing and ensure all the assets are properly controlled and monitoring of the asset allocation

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and or with professional qualification in CA/CPA/ACCA
• 4-5 years experiences in Accounting & Finance
• Industrial experience in Insurance, Banking or Financial sector is preferred
• Familiarity with budgeting process and BvA report preparation experience would be a plus
• At least 2 years in supervisory capacity
• Resourceful, self-driven and able to perform effectively in a start-up environment
• Experience in setting up company chart of accounts and accounting system
