SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical and Capacity Development in Health
• Trains field staff regarding primary health care including maternal and child health
• Supervise if the field staff are following the guidelines for workshops and improving their skills
to improve workshop quality by providing hands-on support and training.
• To be ensure quality of the Training together with support from Technical Team in the hub
offices
• Responsible for assisting to be ensure strong networking and understanding between
trainers/field implementers, volunteers and local partners
• Travel regular basis to village to assist and coaching to trainers
• Assist Sr. Officer when necessary in health-related training
• Make sure Capacity development of field staffs whenever necessary
• Adhere to all of Pact’s Code of Conduct policies including our Zero Tolerance Policy to
Harassment, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in the workplace. Report any abuses towards staff
and beneficiaries to your immediate supervisor or the HR Coordinator if this more appropriate
Expected Results
• Field staff receives supports and suggestions to improve workshops and training skills.
• Pact Health activities with quality outputs and outcomes
• Delivery of systematic and standardize IEC procedures and filing system in the hub offices.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent certification, education or 5 years of working experience is
required
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably with an international development organization or
in a similar context with at least 2 years of experience in delivering trainings/workshops to
community and program staff
• Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Ability to produce timely, effective outputs on trainings and workshop material.
• Ability to develop and deliver TOTs to field staff with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt quickly, cooperatively, and constructively to changes, and to find positive,
creative solutions
• Experience working in complex, politically-sensitive, and culturally-sensitive contexts
• Fluency in written and/or spoken Myanmar and proficiency in English; knowledge of at least
one local language to South-eastern Myanmar considered a major asset
• Knowledge of development, peace, and conflict issues in South-Eastern Myanmar, as well as
other key policy issues relevant to the project
• Solid understanding of and experience engaging with civil society, service providers,
governmental and/or non-governmental actors in networking, development, peace building,
and/or capacity development, preferably in the state/region and communities served by this
position
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Commitment to and interest in development, peace, and conflict issues
• Ability to work in multicultural teams that respect ethnic, religious and national diversity
