Purpose of this position
Increased access of Basic Needs and Protection for Children & Family in Paung Township. World Vision the
project will response to address the needs of the most vulnerable children and their families through the
provision of Psychosocial support to children and their caregivers, Child protection kits and basic foods for
the most vulnerable HHs in targeted villages at Paung Township. It is expected that the project will support
children and their caregivers to decrease their fear, stress and grief caused by the ongoing violence, in
additional to access basic foods during this project implementation.
She/ he will be responsible for overall project management for timely implementation by coaching project
team and M&E focal person.
She/ he will lead in coordination with TCRC (Township Child Rights Committee) and donor organization for
technical guidance and support to Community Volunteers and Village/Ward Committees.
She/ he will make ensure that the project produces output and outcome level results that are agreed upon
and approved by the donor and World Vision and overseeing technical support plan of Paung Township
She/ he will provide any assistance regarding needs assessment, development of detail implementation plan,
monitoring and capacity building of staff and volunteers together with AP staffs and zonal level technical staffs
in initial phase.
Timely and qualified reports are submitted to donor in collaboration with National office technical staffs and
support office staffs.
Develop a detailed implementation plan including target and budget of project with technical assistance from
the technical advisor
Provide leadership to the staff to conduct effective training for in collaboration with Zonal technical staff
Identify strengths and weaknesses of the organizations and key players with regard to CP issue
Provide timely and accurate information to decision makers of World Vision Myanmar regarding the project
Lead the Project Management Team in designing, implementing and evaluating effective modalities with
technical support from Zonal Technical Coordinator
Prepare and submit log frame and narrative project reports of high standards according to donor guidelines
with technical assistance of Zonal Technical Coordinator & APM
Perform other tasks duly assign by supervisor/ manager.
Require knowledge and skills
Bachelor university degree in any discipline.
Minimum of 1-2 year experience in managing grant.
Considerable experience in dealing with grant donors.
Considerable level of experience in facilitating training programs and capacity building regarding child
protection related issues.
Strong level of knowledge and skills in managing grants in the field of child protection/Nutrition.
Strong analytical skills in reading the situation and skills in problem solving.
Considerable degree of knowledge and skills in data.
