Ø Food quality assurance head may meet with other supervisors and inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise.
Ø Must review and handle customer feedback and respond to any complaints.
Ø Prepare reports on food quality status to relay to owners and upper-level management and may keep records of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.
Ø Must be knowledgeable about all food safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations.
Ø Must be knowledgeable about water quality and micro lab.
Ø Must be familiar with include the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) management system.
Ø Review departmental SOPs.
Review CAPA and any NC.
The minimum educational requirement is a bachelor's degree in a food-related discipline, such as food science, microbiology, chemistry, or food industry management.
