Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
Supervision of the Procurement Junior staffs in carrying out purchasing in the local market
and project equipment (medical & non-medical and IT) in a timely manner for MAM projects
To follow up all local Purchase orders with the suppliers to ensure timely delivery and share
the updated information with requestor in case of delay.
To perform regular market surveys and obtain samples for locally needed medical, nonmedical items and IT to the Medical team and Logistic Coordinator for approval.
To follow up price quotations for necessary purchases and make sure to be in line with the
procurement policy. Seek the appropriate approval from concerned authorities as set in the
local purchase procedure.
To make sure suppliers information and products are updated.
To ensure an efficient procurement process, e.g. make enquiry by phone, mail as much as
possible, and agreement with suppliers to deliver at the office for regularly ordered items, etc.)
To ensure all purchase orders are sent to the approved suppliers whenever applicable.
To check the delivered goods from suppliers are correct (quantity and quality) in closed
collaboration with Medical Supply & warehouse and IT team whenever necessary and
payment granted accordingly.
University degree in Supply Chain or Procurement.
Good computer skills, in particular of Microsoft Excel and Word is required. Able to use Email.
Good command of English and Myanmar both written and spoken. Good at report writing in
Hard working, honesty, flexible in working hours, Ability to organize & priorities workload
independently, using initiative when appropriate, attention to details.
Several years of experience in similar role in procurement, supply chain management at
international NGO or Business Company.
Driving experience with valid driving license will be an advantage.
Ability to act as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
