Job Purpose

Responsibility of delivering training for Myankhon/Myotaw, a digital tax collection project that revolutionizes lengthy and inefficient paper-based municipal tax collection processes with state-of-the-art App- and Web-based software.


Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Training Leaders are expected to implement customized training activities in the project target areas involving state directors, township executive officers, deputies and tax collectors. Training activities are meant to facilitate a swift and efficient transition from paper-based to digital tax collection processes. 


Scope of Position:

  • Coordinate teams of field staff, plan activities and implement training strategies and methods under close guidance from the Yanon-based Manager
  • Efficiently manage field teams, provide training-of-trainers, set performance targets and monitor outcomes; 
  • Facilitate new hiring and team member trainings;
  • As first in line, capture feedback, requirements and complaints from end users and coordinate closely with customer service, user testing, M&E and developer teams to address any issues;
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Capture pre-training expectations, post-training impact and performance of training teams;
  • Assure that company and project values are integrated in training activities;

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in human resources and training related fields;
  • Prior experience in managing and coordinating staff and tracking performance;
  • Experience in training needs assessment and training of trainers;
  • Proven experience with various training methods, including training of trainers, on-the-job training and development of materials;
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to integrate swiftly into a new organization
  • Deliver training of individuals and groups of municipal officers of various rank and IT capacity
  • Conduct training needs assessments, evaluate pre-training status and post-training impact
  • Capture feedback, requirements and complaints and report back to Team Leader to get issues addressed;
  • Assure that company and project values are integrated in training activities;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer maintenance skills, MS office, Internet, and Email
  • Self-confidence and positive attitude
  • Prefer B.C.Sc or Be (IT) degree holder
