Total E&P Myanmar (TEPM), a subsidiary of the Total Group - a major International Energy Company, is an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company and the Operator of Yadana Gas Field in M5 and M6 offshore
blocks with a 31.2% interest of the Yadana Consortium along with its partners MOGE, Chevron and PTTEP. The Yadana Consortium produces gas from the offshore Yadana Gas field since 1998. It currently supplies around 50% of Myanmar domestic gas consumption while exporting around 600 MSCFD to Thailand (~12% of the Thai gas consumption).
Total E&P Myanmar (TEPM) also holds interests in 5 exploration blocks offshore Myanmar with various partners. Beyond Exploration & Production, Total is also promoting a LNG to Power project in the area of Kanbauk that includes building a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), and a Power Generation Plant. Total is also reviewing opportunities in the renewable energies and downstream sectors.
TEPM is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility as a core policy embedded in its operations. It prescribes Ethics, HSE, Code of Conduct and Voluntary Principles on Safety and Human Rights principles to all
stakeholders, while maintaining one of the most advanced human resources policy
in Myanmar. TEPM develops nationwide CSR programs and is actively involved in
the Myanmar EITI process.
