Assistant Technology Manager

Description and Requirement

• Preparing scope of work reports on the systems and issues related to smooth operation of application software.
• Monitor network systems utilization and make recommendations for additional growth.
• Proficient in advanced Firewall Policies on traffic & permission management and Branch to Branch connectivity setup, tuning & monitoring.
• Manage VPNs and tune security policies on FortiGate firewall.
• Design, manage and configure switched network with VLAN, Ether-channel.
• Providing system support services, including diagnosing and resolving service outages, managing virus protection and restoring service.
• Monitor system and network performance and perform maintenance activities.
• Perform Technical support for day-to-day operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in network design, implementation and management
• Strong knowledge in network security principles and best practices
• Proven experience in network & server administration
• Good at team management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle user complaints effectively
• Able to travel by work conditions
• Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching, FortiOS, Prism VM Technology and windows servers & Linux servers
