The Business Analyst acts as a conduit between the business community and IT. The main task of business analyst is to identify customer business problems/requirement and find the most effective solution. Study and analyze user requirements, so as to prepare detailed functional specifications and related documents
Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment
Collaborate with developers to understand and troubleshoot technical problems
Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solution and testing approach
Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions made
Analyzes business issues and performs business impact analysis and recommends best approach to solve problems
Reviews functional specification to ensure design meets the user requirement specified
Works closely with the end-users in conducting comprehensive user acceptance testing to ensure that the delivered product matches the stated users requirements spec
Support user acceptance testing such as problem resolution, tracking, escalation and closure.
Support clarification from the testing team on the test plans and during test execution
Prepares the business scenario and test scripting
Require to work closely with the business units and the technical development teams on all system implementation projects as well as maintenance ones
