Description and Requirement
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing daily receipts, payments, and physical cash counts while ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
- Analyze cash in hand and bank balances, contributing to efficient asset flow management.
- Supervise accounting entries for stores, production, distribution, and branch transfers, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct monthly checks on stock reports, providing insights into inventory management.
- Scrutinize data entries from production and branch transactions, maintaining data integrity.
- Prepare manufacturing process reports (MO summaries) and report production norms and variances to management.
- Ensure pricing aligns with costing and oversee revenue data entries and promotional activities.
- Utilize accounting software applications to format data for reporting purposes and review entries for accuracy.
- Highlight anomalies in fund disbursements and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Review staff salary payments, provide approval, and manage day-to-day financial matters.
- Collaborate with Finance Head on financial matters and liaise with external auditors for annual audit reports.
- Take charge of tax and legal matters in accounting, including audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Enhance financial systems, internal controls, and policies by participating in procedure and policy development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry.
