English Main Teacher

Description and Requirement

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Main Teacher to join our team at Ivy Young Learners English School Tachileik, a dynamic and nurturing English language school specializing in early childhood and young learner education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, experienced in teaching English as a second language, and committed to fostering a fun, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.

As a Main Teacher, you will be responsible for leading English lessons for young learners aged 6–17 years, developing lesson plans in alignment with our curriculum, and ensuring students’ language and social development through creative and interactive teaching methods.

Requirements

• Minimum Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field).
• Teaching certifications. (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching English to young learners.
• Strong classroom management skills and a warm, approachable personality.
• Creative, energetic, and child-centered teaching approach.
• Excellent communication, flexible personality and interpersonal skills with leadership skills.
