Network Team Lead

Description and Requirement

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This includes selecting and configuring network hardware and software, as well as ensuring that the network meets the organization's needs and is secure.
• Responsible for ensuring that the organization's network is secure and compliant with security standards and regulations. This includes implementing security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security monitoring.
• Responsible for identifying and resolving issues with the network, as well as performing regular maintenance and upgrades to keep the network running smoothly.
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of the network, identifying bottlenecks, and taking steps to improve performance.
• Responsible for planning for and managing the organization's network capacity to meet future needs.
• Responsible for managing relationships with vendors and service providers, such as network hardware and software vendors.
• Responsible for ensuring that the organization's network complies with relevant regulations and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001 and others.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of the organization's network infrastructure, as well as tracking and managing network assets.
• Responsible for ensuring that the organization's network meets the requirements of any SLAs in place with clients or customers.
• Should be able to identify new and emerging technologies and assess their potential to improve the network infrastructure and performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    5+ years of experience in network engineering or administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
•    Proven experience with network design, implementation, and management.
•    In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
•    Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and monitoring tools.
•    Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
•    Understanding of network security principles and practices.
•    Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are preferred.
