Procurement Manager (Agri Products)

Description and Requirement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for agricultural products (Bean,Maize and Rice)
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Monitor market trends and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and optimize supply chain processes.
• Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to track performance, costs, and savings.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers and address any procurement-related concerns from internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,  Business Administration, or a related field.
• A master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on agricultural products or related industries.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proven ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
