Design, implement, and maintain network architecture within the VMware cloud environment, with a strong emphasis on VMware NSX
Ensure network scalability and high availability to meet business requirements.
Configure and manage NSX components, including logical switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
Optimize network virtualization for performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with the physical network team to ensure seamless integration of virtual and physical network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Implement and manage security policies and controls within the physical and VMware environment.
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve related with physical Firewalls and load balancers.
Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Streamline network management processes for increased efficiency.
Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency.
Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network design, configurations, policies, and procedures.
Generate reports on network performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues.
Provide support and expertise for network-related inquiries.
Provide technical consultation and assistance to customers
Other duties as directed

Bachelor of IT, Computer Science/Technology or related degree
3 years + proven experience in designing and managing physical network and VMware NSX infrastructure
VMware certification (eg, VCP, VCAP, VCIX) and Cisco certification (eg, CCNA,CCNP) are highly desirable
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, network protocols and security principles.
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
Solid understanding of network and Linux systems
Excellence problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
